How do I shut off the audio player?

Click on the pause (||) button on the media player, or exit out of the player screen.

How do I listen to the music player?

Click on the “launch audio player” graphic on the left side of the homepage to launch the JamesOtto.net imeem music player.

What are sub nav bars?

The Sub Nav bars are located on the TOUR, INFO, MUSIC, MEDIA pages. Tour sub nav has Browse, Tour Maps, Archives. Info sub nav has Biography & Links. Music sub nav has Albums, DVDs, Video Singles and Media sub nav has Photos, Downloads, Videos and Exclusives. Click on the sub nav titles to open.

What are the minimum system requirements to fully enjoy the site?

Please note the following minimum system requirements:

Operating System: Windows Vista, XP
Mac OS 10.4 and above.

Browser: Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher, which can be downloaded for free here
or Safari 2.0 or higher, which can be downloaded for free here

Where is the Navigation (Nav) Bar?

The main Navigation (Nav) Bar is at the top of every page on the site. The nav bar on jamesotto.net has the following items: HOME, NEWS, TOUR, INFO, MUSIC, MEDIA, FAN CLUB, SHOP. Click on any of these titles to open the page.

*If you register for a free basic account you able to access a Member Nav Bar as well.

How do I comment on Music?

1. Login or register
2. Click on 'Music' in your the main Navigation Bar.
3. Click on 'add new comment' below the album you want to comment on. *If you there are already comments, click the existing comments to add yours.
4. To 'Reply' to a posted comment, click 'Reply' by the comment you want to reply to

How do I comment on News?

1. Login or Register
2. Click on "add new comment" in the News story you want to comment on. *If you there are already comments, click the existing 'comments' to add yours.
3. To 'Reply' to a posted comment, click 'Reply' by the comment you want to reply to

How do I comment on Videos?

1. Login or Register
2. Click on 'Media' in the main Navigation bar.
3. Click on 'Videos' in the sub-navigation bar.
4. Click on 'Add Comment' under the video you want to comment on.
*If there are already comments on the video click 'Comments' and then add your comment.
5. To 'Reply' to a posted comment, click 'Reply' by the comment you want to reply to

How do I edit my Account Settings?

1. LOG IN or SIGN UP
2. Click on 'My Account' in your Member Nav Bar
3. Click 'Edit' tab
4. Click 'Account Settingsl'
5. Edit your Location (address), Email Address, Password, Profile Picture, Private Message settings, Signature and/or Contact settings.

How do I edit my Personal Info?

1. Log in or Sign up
2. Click on 'My Account' in your Member Nav Bar
3. Click 'Edit' tab
4. 'Personal' tab
5. Edit your full name, birthday, postal code, gender and/or country
6. Click 'Submit'

How do I register for a Free Basic Account?

1. Just click the Go! button in the SIGN UP box on the home page
2. Enter the requested information and click 'Create New Account'
3. You will then recieve a confirmation E-mail to 'Activate Your Account'. (*The e-mail will be sent to the E-mail address you entered in the registration page.)
4. Follow the instructions on the confirmation email to Activate Your Account.

*You will have a free basic account after you complete these 4 quick & easy steps.

How do I Send and Receive Private Messages?

1. Login or register
2. Click "Private messages" in your Member Nav Menu. this will take you to your Inbox (received private messages)
3. Click 'Write A New Message' to send a message to a member.
*You can also send a Private Message by clicking on the Name and/or Profile Picture of member in 'WHO'S ONLINE'. This will open their user profile. Click 'Send Message' under their profile picture/icon.
4. Click the "Sent Message link to view your sent messages

How do I use My Blog?

To go to your Blog:
1. Login or Register
2. Click "My Account" in your Member Nav Bar

Post New Blog Entry:
1. Go to your Blog
2. Click "Post new blog entry" (You can also 'Post New Blog Entry' if/when you click on 'Read My Blog') *Members can read your blog in your Account Profile.

View blog:
1. Go to your Blog
2. Click "Read my blog" below your user picture

Edit or Delete your Blog:
1. Go to your Blog
2. Click the title of the blog you want to edit or delete
3. Click ''Edit' to edit your blog or click 'Delete' to delete your blog

*You can read other member blogs in their Profile

How do I use my Member Nav Bar (Menu)?

Your Member Nav Bar (Menu) appears after you log in. It's where you can access everything you get with your free basic account.

1. Log in
2. Your Member Nav Bar (Menu) will appear directly under the Main Nav Bar when you Log In
3. We've posted instructions on how to use everything in the Menu in 'Help'. If we missed anything or if you need additional help, please contact Team Otto via Comment or Private Message.

How do I view other Member Blogs?

1. Login or register
2. Click on a user's name or profile picture in Who's Online
3. Click "Read my blog" which is under the member's picture on their profile page

I never received a Confirmation E-mail after Registering?

Please check your Spam box – the email may have gone there, or you may have entered the wrong email address The confirmation e-mail was sent to the address you entered on the registration page.

I registered but cannot access the site. It keeps saying Access Denied?

1. Make sure that you are entering your password with the correct capitalization. The system is case sensitive, so you must enter your password exactly as you did when you registered.
2. Try logging out of the site. clear out your cookies and cache in your web browser tools and then Log In again. This should clear the problem.

What do I get with a free basic account?

With your free account you can leave comments, send private messages, write your own blog, and invite your friends.

What if I forgot my Password?

Click 'Lost My Password?" after you try to LOG IN. *You have to try to Log In to get the Lost Password? message. Request a new password to be sent to the email address on your account.
