CMA Music Fest is FINALLY here!

CMA Fan Fest Week!
I can't believe how crazy the past few weeks have been. First, having "Just Got Started Lovin' You" hitting number one (thank you everyone, I can't tell you enough how thankful I am!), the ACM awards and living it up in Vegas, and now we're getting closer and closer to CMA Fan Fest Week in Nashville. If you've never been to Fan Fest, you're missing out. Just picture the biggest parade, meet and greet, convention, and concert all wrapped up in one weekend but times a thousand. People fly in from all over the country to come join in on the fun, it's an insane few days but in a good way. This year it's being held from June 5 through June 8 and it's going to be a very busy weekend for me. I've got a PACKED schedule. Sounds like another game of "Where's Otto," right?
First off, I'm going to be the grand marshall for the Festival Kick Off parade on June 4 so that should be really fun. Later that day, I'm doing the Block Party show at the Chevy Plaza with Luke Bryan, Joe Nichols, Phil Stacey and other people. This one's going to be free for the public so feel free to come down for the show and have a good time. I'm also going to be part of the City of Hope celebrity softball challenge and you can get tickets for that from Ticketmaster. The City of Hope is a really great organization that supports treatment and research for life threatening diseases so this softball challenge is all going towards a great cause. On Thursday, I'll be doing some signings at the Borders and Chevy booth. Also, I'll be appearing for a couple hours at the Warner Bros./Xbox booth in Fan Fair Hall to rock out to Guitar Hero 3 with some fans. Their booth is going to be really fun. A lot of my label mates at WB will be showing up to the booth as well all weekend to play video games with fans so come check it out. Later that night, I'm going to be a part of the GAC Nite Cap show at Limelight, which is just across the street from LP Field. Hopefully sometime that night, I hope to get some sleep into my schedule but you never know.
I have a couple shows in Memphis and Enterprise, Alabama on Friday and Saturday but will be back in Nashville on Sunday night to play LP Field. It's going to be the last night of the CMA Fest and I think it will be a great ending to a crazy weekend. My set starts at 8pm that night and I'll be playing right before the legend himself, Randy Travis. It's going to be an amazing weekend. Hope to see y'all there!

12 PM- 1 PM: Chevy Booth Signing- Nashville Convention Center Booth #517 (CMA FEST Pass required)
3 PM- 5 PM Warner Bros & XBox Booth- Nashville Convention Center Booth #234 (CMA FEST Pass required)\
6PM: JUST GOT STARTED LOVIN' You Number One party! Limelight (201 Woodland Street- across from LP Field) (Free admission)
11 PM- 2:30 AM: GAC Nite Cap at Limelight

I am in it till the end for our beautiful James. (smiles)
I just wish that my beginning wasn't so late. I have been listening to his first album like crazy. I love it so much, but I get so mad sometimes when I hear it because of how much attention it wasn't given when it was first released. I wasn't any help back then at all any and that right there is what gets to me the most. (shaking my head)

If you look at what I said earlier, I never said that I didn't want my questions answered. (smiles)
What I said is if what I ask is going over a line at all any, then don't answer me. Sometimes a person may not know what is over the line, but if what they are asking is not answered, that may give them the idea that what they have asked is over the line. (smiles)
And for the record, I don't expect anyone to change the way that they are either and their freedom of speech can not be taken away by anyone just like yours and mine can't. What we have to be though is willing to face the repercussions of what we say since everyone has the same and equal rights. I don't say anything until I am willing to deal with what may be said to me in return. (smiles)

Freedom of Speech!
I am a true believer in freedom of speech. And since this is a public website than I think anyone should be able to voice their opinions on here.
The questions that you ask that you don't want us to answer, hey here is a thought-why do you have to ask them? If you don't want them answered then don't put them on here. (smiles)
Like you have said people on other forums don't want you to change. That's fine with me but don't expect us to change our way of thinking if it clashes with yours.
As for you saying God bless you always!!! whats wrong with that. I am a believer and don't take offense to it and haven't seen where anyone else has mentioned it on this site.
I want to believe that on this site we can say anything that we choose and have the freedom of speech to be able to do it. We should be able to voice our opinions about what other people say. But it also needs to be said that several people on here are either family members or friends of Mr. Otto and maybe they don't like certain things to be said. To me that is okay and we should respect them for their opinions.

Sorry there was such a negative outcry over your comment. I think James' character speaks for itself and does not require such defensiveness, although I understand the fervor since he seems to be such a great guy. Moreover, I think you just mistyped your intention; it happens, but you might want to be more pensive in the future.
It is very cool that you are such a devoted fan; it takes great energy and time and it doesn't matter when you start as long as you are sincere and in it for the long haul.
James Otto is the first fan club I have joined in a looong time (and I am willing to PAY for a membership when it becomes available :D). I couldn't wait to buy his album and see him live and yes, like you, I am an OTTOMANIAC, only because he has so moved me, like obviously, so many others.
James' fans are a true testament to his amazing talent and personality. We are all here because we believe James is the greatest singer/songwriter/performer in any genre, hands down!

More Kudos to you LanaMiller. I agree completely. Yes James is an attractive man, but he is a very happily married man. I can't image him ever taking his clothes off for a magazine. I know I wouldn't buy it. It would be like looking at a family member, namely a little brother. No thanks. I have spent time with the Otto's (as I know many of you have) they are wonderful and kind people.
I do see our beautiful James as a respected musician! (smiles)
Honesty, respect, and loyalty are the three things that I am the most big on and trust me, my mind is not where y'all may think that it is. If any question that I may ask happens to be going over the line, which I don't ever mean to go over the line, then simply don't answer the question. I WILL get the message then of where we are not to go about our beautiful James. (smiles)
I am sorry if I am getting on everyone's nerves here. I honestly do not mean to. I just hate being so late at being a fan of our beautiful James that you could say that this is me making up for the past six years that I will never get to do over again the right way. (shaking my head)
And just to get it out here before it is asked about, the reason that I say God bless you always all the time is because I have seen quite a bit of bad in my life. I know that we all have seen it in different ways, but to me, in a world as sick as the one that we are in, a person can never be blessed too much and my saying God bless you always is a way of keeping the Lord around when so many people are trying their absolute hardest to get rid of him. God created the world, so to me, he should be allowed to have a place in it still. (smiles)

I wondered about it because it has been done in our music.
And we have Darryl Worley, Keith Urban, and David Kersh to blame for it and to me, they are more than enough. (shaking my head)

Inhaled James Rockin show at 3 on Sunday under a beautiful Pa sky and nice breeze. First time to see him perform live and it was again a Rockin show! Wish I could of stayed for the second show but drove 2 hours back before dark. Liked the new T-shirt collection and managed to only walk away with 2!
Yes, he is going to get major PR this week in Nashville and only wish I was there. Will have to catch him in Pa when he gets back up here in September for the Ebensburg Fair and have a ticket for the Pepsi Roadhouse which I wish he was the main singer instead of the opener??

What the Heck?
I really don't think that he would do that. He doesn't seem like the type to have a nude picture taken so desperate women with no life could look at him. I think he has more respect and love for his wife than to do that. And even if he did I would not buy it because honey the site of Mr. Otto naked is for Amy's eyes only!!!!!

Playgirl won't ever be one of them will it, if it is okay to ask? Another one of my favorite males, Darryl Worley that is, was in that one last year and I wasn't really all that happy about it, but I DID get over it. I still love Darryl and the same thing would go for our beautiful James. I am just wondering about what to expect from him, that is all. (smiles)

Hah, Thats nothing. You should see all of the press he's going to be doing around town. We're keepin him busy so you can keep hearin' him on the radio and seeing him in Newspapers and magazines! May the Lord keep our beautiful James safe and well always!!! I have already heard of LeAnn Rimes and Ronnie of Brooks & Dunn getting sick lately and having to cancel certain performances because of their current health.
