First he broke out in a big way with “Just Got Started Loving You.” Now James Otto offers up his second single from Sunset Man. “For You” is the soft spoken counterpoint to “Just Got Started” and really lets Otto show off his vocal range. It also gives an interesting look into the daily life of a budding star. Wake up to the sound of your own voice on the radio, sign some autographs, do an interview, more autographs, hair/makeup/wardrobe (has got to be tough for a man to get used to), publicity photos and the concert — all the while longing for simpler times with your girl. He does an awesome job of fixing that situation though. One well-timed and creatively worded note and all is well again. I knew I should have learned to sing.

I was thinking about that the other night. James' shows really have continued to get better. Totally different experience ( in a VERY GOOD way) from "Mercury James" I saw @ The Ryman about 5 yrs ago. Like night and day or perhaps Sunday Morning Saturday Night.

concerts
I have seen James in concert 2 times already this year and he is coming 2 more times that I know of. He is coming to the Midsouth fair in Memphis in Sept. and there are about 15 of us who have not been to the fair in years will be there this year. He is also going to be at The Fed Ex Forum Oct 11 and we already have our tickets. Can't wait.

Let's just hope that Deon doesn't lay another one on James wihtout us getting a picture. The look on his face after she kissed him was priceless though!! And we do have that picture! Wonder how James enjoyed being on a rock again? I think Jamaica is bigger than Guam isn't it? As for the cruise??? don't see that happening so the highways is where I belong. But Reyne you can't tell me that you wouldn't cruise to Barbados!!! Wait you wouldn't have to cause the private jet would pick you up!!!! Viva Candian Air!!!!

You know it was bad enough being stuck in the middle of the ocean on a rock less alone on a ship. Soooo you all enjoy the cruise I will cover the highways and byways to see Mr. Otto thank you very much. Amy by the end of the weekend in September I will have driven that many hours, so see if you are going to spend that much time in a car you could sure do it with me. Deon is going to Amarillo and we all know she is not shy. So I am hoping for some more awesome shots of James that only she can take.

I was actually thinking about going to this show until I looked on Mapquest and realized that it's 14 hours away! It's a little further away than I realized...LOL! I saw him in Denver too -- that I will do again when he comes back there. Hope you guys have a great time!
